<image:caption>RTUS allows us to see how your muscles working in real time. This enables your physiotherapist to show you how to activate and control the muscle more effectively and target your rehabilitation specifically to your level and needs. Similar to an obstetric ultrasound it is a comfortable and non-invasive scan. Please note imagaing is usually best when the client has a moderately full bladder. If you’re suffering from any of the following, RTUS can help you get better results, faster: - Acute & chronic back / pelvic pain / hip pain - Post-natal abdominal weakness / separation - Pelvic floor dysfunction or weakness / incontinence - Post abdominal or pelvic surgery rehabilitation - Sports injuries (particularly back, pelvis, hip & groin) For women with Pelvic Floor concerns, an internal assessment and treatment options may be offered. A full explanation about this assessment is always given and your consent will be established prior to any assessment taking place.</image:caption>

<image:title>Team - Rebecca Dodson and Stacey Law</image:title>
<image:caption>Leaders in women’s health, Rebecca Dodson and Stacey Law both trained over 15 years ago as musculoskeletal and sports physios before their passion for working with women led them to focus on pelvic floor physiotherapy, in particular pre and post-natal physiotherapy and exercise. Both Rebecca and Stacey are also trained in Manual therapy, Clinical Pilates and Acupuncture. Rebecca and Stacey believe that they can make the most difference to their client’s lives by educating them about their bodies, as well as giving them the tools to keep them performing at their best. They bring this approach to all clients they work with; formulating a tailored assessment and personalised plan that takes the individual into account. They advocate using exercise as part of treatment (where appropriate) as that allows them to see how a woman’s bodies responds when she moves and how they can correct any issues identified. This shared passion for helping women rehabilitate and achieve their goals led Rebecca and Stacey to launch Leto in 2015.</image:caption>

<image:title>Home - Antenatal and Postnatal WOF</image:title>
<image:caption>Each woman’s experience of pregnancy, birth and recovery will be different. The best exercises for your body during these periods is also a very individual thing, depending on how your body is managing and what your needs and goals are. We encourage all pregnant women and new mums to be checked by a Women's Health Physiotherapist for advice on the best care of yourself and your body so you can feel empowered and confident on your journey into motherhood. Please note: If you have ANY pelvic floor symptoms (e.g. leaking, prolapse symptoms, painful sex) please book in for an Initial Private Pelvic Floor Appointment instead of a WOF. Our postnatal WOFs include an ultrasound of your pelvic floor so please try to attend with a moderately full bladder.</image:caption>

<image:title>Home - Real Time Ultrasound Scan</image:title>
<image:caption>RTUS allows us to see how your muscles working in real time. This enables your physiotherapist to show you how to activate and control the muscle more effectively. Similar to an obstetric ultrasound it is a comfortable and non-invasive scan. Many women feel concern over whether or not they are activating their ‘core’ and ‘pelvic floor muscles’ correctly during their gym workouts or pilates classes. RTUS is great visual feedback tool for you to see how to engage these muscles correctly. Please note imaging is usually best when the client has a moderately full bladder. * For women with pelvic floor concerns, a follow up appointment may be suggested for a physical examination and internal assessment. A full explanation about this assessment is always given and your consent will be established prior to any assessment taking place.</image:caption>
